Munuscong State Forest Campground European Frogbit Pull
Join MUCC and Three Shores CISMA for a day of watershed improvement at Munuscong State Forest Campground. Volunteers will be pulling an invasive species called Frogtbit. Frogbit grows in thick mats which impedes boat traffic, movement of large fish and ducks, it also prevents light from reaching submerged vegetation in the water. This event will be held on August 24th, volunteers will meet at the campground at 9 am and will then proceed to the worksite. Lunch will be provided by MUCC at noon and volunteers will receive a reusable water bottle to take home at the end of the event! Please contact Emma Nehan at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
