Gratiot-Saginaw SGA

09/06/2019 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM ET

Join OTG and the MDNR for a day of habitat improvement in the Gratiot-Saginaw SGA. Volunteers will assist the DNR in a dike-clearing project by removing woody brush that has overgrown the edges of the dikes. By removing the vegetation and stacking it off to the side in brush piles, volunteers simultaneously improve water flow through the area and create habitat for a variety of wildlife species.

We will be meeting at the old Grat-Sag DNR field office at 13350 S. Meridian Rd, Brant, MI 48614 before continuing as a group to the work site.

As with all OTG events, volunteers receive free lunch and an OTG t-shirt!
