Wood Duck Nest Box Maintenance and Installation - Maple River SGA

About the project: Join MUCC's OTG program in partnership with the Michigan DNR and the Maple River Wildlife Association as we clean out and maintain current wood duck nest boxes and install new nest boxes at the Maple River State Game Area. Volunteers are needed on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 9:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. Gear, lunch, and volunteer gifts will be provided.

What to bring: Volunteers are encouraged to wear boots and dress for cold weather. We will be on the ice so please bring ice cleats if you have them. Attendees are also encouraged to bring a reusable water bottle, although bottled water will be provided throughout the day.
