OTG: Maple River State Game Area

02/23/2019 09:00 AM - 02:00 PM ET

Description

On Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 starting at 9am, MUCC's OTG program will be partnering with the Maple River Wildlife Association to clear brush for better hunter access, check existing wood duck boxes for nesting success, hang new boxes, and cut trees for better migratory bird access. Volunteers should bring warm clothes, hand tools, pole saws, and chainsaws (if you're comfortable using them). Water, lunch, and a free t-shirt will be provided for all volunteers.
We will be meeting at the DNR barns off Crapo Road.

You do not have to be a member of MRWA or MUCC to help out and give back to your local public lands. Everyone is welcome, no experience required.

For information or questions, please contact Hunter Salisbury, MUCC Outreach Specialist, at hsalisbury@mucc.org
